Getup: A Partridge in a Mock Tee

It is officially twelve days til Christmas!

Someone should write a song about that.

Festive Fun Fact: In Western ecclesiastical traditions, The Twelve Days of Christmas denotes the time period that begins on Christmas Day (aka The First Day of Christmas) and ends on January 5th. It is also known as “Twelvetide” or “Christmastide” depending on which God Club (religion) you belong to.

BONUS Festive Fun Fact: The title of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night is thought to be a reference to Epiphany, the twelfth night of the Christmastide/Twelvetide season.

And in case it wasn’t clear yet, today’s outfit post is sponsored by Wikipedia.

Top (Madewell) ◊ Jeans (American Eagle) ◊ Booties – old (Similar) ◊ Blazer – old (Similar)

Here I am fully endorsing the resurgence of the mock neck, and this Madewell knit top ticks all the right boxes for me. I especially love the fitted sleeve. Very flattering

Merry Twelvetide!
