I am not feeling my usual, pithy self today. Currently writing this from behind a Dayquil fog as I endure the second day of a nasty cold. If the pile of tissues in the trashcan beside me could talk, they would testify that I couldn’t look any less like someone who has a style blog right now.
These pictures were actually taken this past Sunday, just minutes after I started to feel the tell-tale head congestion and itchy throat. A few hours later I would be in the throes of full-blown illness, punctuated by relentless sneezing spells that alarmed Cosmo and made quick work of two large tissue boxes.
I guess it is fitting that my nasal excretions be the theme of this outfit post since the color of my sweater is remarkably on-brand. Couldn’t have planned it better.
Seriously though, if my favorite color to wear is Cognac, then my second favorite is this pukey greenish brown. These photos don’t quite do it justice, but Pantone 383 is an accurate representation of its real-life vibrancy. I just love it.

Let it not go unnoticed that I am actually wearing a sweater! Hallelujah! It finally cooled down (well, low 70s) this past weekend and like the good Southern Californians we are, we did not breathe a word about it for fear of scaring the chilly temps away. All we have to do is wash our cars and it might actually RAIN.
Off to grab another tissue box.
